Do I have to consider myself as recycling artist in a city like New York where you can find so many cardboards in the streets?
For over 100 years, artists have been painting on cardboard:
I just want to demonstrate that my abstract art can fit to every medium :)
As abstract artist in New York, cardboard is abundant & reflects directly our consumption society.
I like the idea to use a non-precious & already manufactured object which can become piece of art.
When I do a cardboard abstract painting, I also like a lot the way it takes to paint and the smoothness of this surface.
