Mental activity

Emotional state on canvas, Aix-en-Provence, France, 2016

Our common mental processes are memory, perception, emotion, imagination, thinking, and reasoning.
Since our human mind is constantly active, they are continuously relevant.
Our mental activity also affects or intakes events from our daily life.
I painted it from an abstract point of view with color curves and lines on canvas.

By juxtaposing these diverse elements, I seek to highlight the interconnectedness of communities and how they contribute to the vibrant mosaic of the city.

In creating these abstract topographies, I draw inspiration from the complex interactions and intersections that define New York's urban landscape.

By layering shapes and patterns, I aim to convey the multifaceted nature
of the city's communities, exploring how they evolve and adapt.

Through my artwork, I hope to celebrate the diversity and resilience of
New York's residents showcase the beauty and complexity of their shared experiences within the larger tapestry of the city.
