MORALITY ON PAPER        HERII PEWEEMADD SERIES      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO       BROOKLYN, NY     2019

Ethical interconnectedness

About the theme of "ethical interconnectedness"

Our interconnectedness shapes ethical life as human beings.

A cornerstone of ethical awareness is recognizing that our actions, individually
or collectively, have ripple effects on others and the broader community.

Our actions as individuals or groups often result in consequences for others,
and I paint them as an interwoven system of
 humans and urbanity.

I imagine abstract images of spiritual or moral dilemmas about ethical reasoning, values, and life choices.

In this tactile dance, the marriage of tape and paint births abstract images
that provoke introspection.

My perspective aligns with a holistic and interconnected view of ethics, emphasizing the intricate relationships and consequences of
our human experience.

With delicate precision, tape maps the contours of moral quandaries on paper.

I am painting a portrait of interconnected systems where individuals
and communities are threads woven into the fabric of urbanity.

This metaphor suggests that ethical considerations extend beyond the boundaries of personal choices, reaching into the shared spaces we inhabit.

Layers of paint unfold, each hue reflecting the intricate shades
within life's choices.

The abstract images I drew based on spiritual or moral dilemmas reflect the complexity and nuance of ethical reasoning.
