Break the Manhattan grid
Goglii Complee series on paper, Aix-en-Provence, France, 2016
This last series is about urban landscape & city mapping integration.
I have imagined a kind of typical city with different areas which people use for living, buying, eating, having fun, etc...
As I am working about the mental topography concept, I have decided to apply this creative process to a place that only exists for me. For example, in many cities, streets and roads are arranged in concentric circles, or a grid.
Many jurisdictions also classify them by size or utility.
I tried to keep these elements in my mind and give them an original interpretation.
