ABSTRACT DESIGN OF PLANTS ON PAPER      MELLANDDERR SERIES      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO     2023

Abstract plants

About the theme of "abstract plants"

Utilizing color tapes, I embark on a visual exploration of title plants, also known as abstract plants, which serve as comprehensive databases indexing geographical records of land ownership and transactions.

In my artistic representation, geometric and graphic compositions convey
the intricate information network contained within these databases.

Each color tape represents a different facet of land ownership or transaction history, with geometric shapes and patterns symbolizing the organized
structure of the data.

The geometric and graphic compositions formed through the application of color tapes reflect the complexity and depth of information found within title plants.

By layering tapes of varying hues and textures, I create visual representations
of the interconnectedness of land records, highlighting the relationships between land parcels and the associated transactions.

Through this artistic interpretation, viewers are invited to contemplate the multifaceted nature of title plants and their crucial role in issuing title insurance policies.

As viewers engage with these compositions, they are encouraged to explore the intricate details and patterns embedded within title plants, gaining insight into the history and ownership of land over time.

Through the interplay of color tapes in geometric and graphic compositions, I aim to evoke a sense of the systematic organization
and meticulous record-keeping inherent in title plants while offering
a visually captivating representation of their significance in
land ownership and title insurance.
