Neutral observer

MENTAL AWARNESS ON CANVAS      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO IN NEWBURGH, NY, USA     JULY 2022

About the theme of "neutral observation"

There are various ways to develop neutral observation
to foster natural contact with yourself and others.

It's an open space of awareness: when practicing neutral observation, we can gradually start to see the automatic judgments or the usual reactions we often slide into
more clearly.

We gain more freedom in our thinking and acting.

Thinking and acting will become almost automatic
and natural if our compulsions stay unconscious.

It is the main topic of this new series: how they can define our judgments and reactions once controlled.

In my abstract maps combining acrylic paint and tape, this concept
can be visualized through warm colors on canvas.

The warm hues, such as earthy tones or gentle reds, symbolize a balanced
and welcoming atmosphere.

The abstract lines formed by color tape may represent the clarity
and precision of observation, avoiding chaotic patterns.

Warm colors and controlled abstraction evoke a calm neutrality, inviting viewers to interpret the artwork without predetermined influences.
