COGNITIVE LANDSCAPES ON PAPER      CIRCUIT EN GLLORRP SERIES      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO     2025

Neuroplastic playgrounds

About the theme of "synaptic meadow"

My artistic approach centered on creating a tension between chaos
and structure, a kind of controlled neuroplastic disarray.

I wanted to visualize the ever-shifting circuits of thought, emotion, and memory, as if each fragment was a neuron firing or misfiring.

The compositions are built through layering cut paper, geometric fragments,
and textured elements that mimic synaptic links or cognitive interference.

The gray paper was a deliberate choice.

It acts as a cognitive "neutral zone", neither aggressive nor passive,
offering a muted, cerebral field where the vibrancy of the forms could vibrate and assert themselves without being drowned by a stark white or
overwhelmed by a saturated background.

Gray is the color of ambiguity, of the in-between, much like the mental spaces I’m mapping.

It allows the visual noise to emerge with greater clarity,
while also grounding the erratic movement.

Each artwork unfolds through intuitive decision-making, placing, rotating, shifting, and recontextualizing until a psychological resonance appears.

I work without a fixed destination, letting the pieces suggest
their internal logic.
