Infinite labyrinths
Maazs series, digital art, New York, USA, 2017
The city is a bubbling of all types of lives in a definite space, often firm and constantly changing.
For this series, I used images of works on paper and I created specific visuals of mazes.
The idea of the maze came naturally: a network of paths and hedges designed as a puzzle through which one has to find a way.
The Labyrinth is one of the oldest symbols of humanity and it’s a motif that we find across many cultures and continents.
This symbol evokes the collective unconscious across different cultures and time periods.
It can be a psychological, emotional, or physical path.
