Based on dance music, Funk music has a strong "rhythmic role".
I imagined the compositions of this rhythm with tapes and sheets of black geometric patterns.
The sound of funk is as much based on the "spaces between the notes" as the notes that are played -  as such, the rests between notes are important
I envision a musical conversation between the forms and the colors to create these abstract artworks on these 2 record sleeves.
