Oreenn series on paper, Newburgh, NY, 2021
Without ignoring intrapersonal and interpersonal differences in the meaning of pandemic stress for individuals, high-stress situations and prolonged quarantine can induce symptoms of post-traumatic stress, loneliness, confusion, anger, frustration, boredom, and depression.
Adding to existing fears about health, reduced social contact in valued activities or healthy forms of non-COVID-19-related behavior induce this feeling of distress.
I choose this color to demonstrate all these states of mind. It also bears witness to the need for contact with others.
Yellow is the color that captures our attention more than any other color.
