Unlimited crossroads

Kazzma Mondrii series on paper, New York, USA, 2017

I read about crossroads villages during Colonial American history.

Owners of farmland along a frequently traveled trail or road would plan a village where two or three roads crossed.
To a large extent, they provided identity and vitality to the surrounding countryside and a sense of community.

Villages and towns began to appear on the landscape when farmers had produced enough good harvests
to erect satisfactory homes.
