Abstract wood painting

Since 2008

Why should I develop geographic abstraction on wood?

Because for me, geometric abstract wood painting refers to our ancestral roots.

Using a piece of wood for making my art is a way to approach and celebrate tribal & ethnic art.

Making wood art in New York is also a sense act since I'm essentially trying to paint on basic supports found in the street
or already used by other people.
Finally, abstract wood painting is a way of appropriating the object, its history and passing on this memory to the audience.
