About the theme of "wandering in the streets"
I immerse myself in the meandering streets, embracing the serendipity
of aimless wandering.
With each step, I delve into the depths of urban exploration, allowing
the city's rhythm to guide my journey.
These strolls become a canvas for introspection, a space where I can contemplate life's complexities and unravel the threads of my existence.
As I navigate the cityscape, I translate my wandering experiences into abstract geometric compositions on paper.
Using different types of wasabi tapes, I capture the fluidity and spontaneity
of my movements, layering them to mimic the intricate pathways of urban exploration.
The varying colors and textures of the tapes mirror the dynamic interplay
of emotions and sensations accompanying each step.
Through my artwork, I seek to evoke the essence of being lost in the city,
a state of mind that fosters connection and introspection.
By embracing the uncertainty of wandering, I invite viewers to embark
on their journey of self-discovery and exploration.
With each composition, I hope to inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity
about the world surrounding us, encouraging others to embrace the beauty
of aimless wandering.
