BUDDHAHOOD REPRESENTATION ON PAPER DHAAKA VS SPLACE SERIES PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO 2021
it's a fantastic energy
About the theme of "Heart Sutra"
In my artistic representation of the Heart Sūtra and the Buddhist concept
of "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form," I employ acrylic paint and color tape to delve into the essence of emptiness and formlessness.
Each brushstroke and strip of tape becomes a meditation on the interconnectedness of existence and the transient and illusory nature
of material reality.
Through geometric and abstract compositions, I seek to evoke a sense
of spaciousness and openness, inviting viewers to contemplate the boundless depths of emptiness within the fabric of existence.
The use of acrylic paint and color tape allows me to capture the dynamic interplay between form and emptiness and the fluidity of perception
and interpretation.
By layering and blending colors, I evoke the ever-shifting nature of reality,
while the geometric arrangements of tape symbolize the inherent structure
and order within emptiness.
Through these artistic techniques, I aim to convey the profound insights
of the Heart Sūtra and the transformative power of recognizing the emptiness of self and phenomena.
As viewers engage with these compositions, they are encouraged to reflect
on the impermanent and insubstantial nature of existence and the liberating potential of embracing emptiness as a path to wisdom and enlightenment.
Through the visual representation of the Heart Sūtra's teachings, I hope to inspire contemplation and introspection, guiding viewers on self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
