A call for reciprocity
About the theme of "reciprocity"
Exploring the concept of reciprocity through abstract compositions, I utilize primary colors as a visual language to convey the dynamics of exchange
and mutual benefit inherent in social interactions.
Each primary color—red, blue, and yellow—symbolizes a distinct aspect of
the reciprocity process, while the composition reflects the interconnectedness
of individuals within a social framework.
Through bold shapes, lines, and forms, I aim to evoke the essence of reciprocity
as a fundamental principle of human interaction.
Red, representing action and initiative, is a focal point within the composition, symbolizing the initial act of giving or doing something for another person.
This vibrant hue embodies the energy and intention behind reciprocal gestures, capturing the proactive nature of social exchange.
Blue, conversely, signifies response and reciprocity, embodying the sense
of obligation or duty that arises when someone receives a favor or kindness.
Through blue tones, I depict the reciprocal nature of social norms, where individuals feel compelled to reciprocate goodwill gestures.
Yellow, the third primary color, represents the harmony and balance
that result from mutual benefit and cooperation. It is a unifying force within the composition, blending with red and blue to create dynamic contrasts
and harmonious compositions.
Through the interplay of these primary colors, I seek to express visually
the intricate dance of give-and-take underpins the norm of reciprocity, illustrating how acts of kindness and generosity create a ripple effect
of mutual benefit and social cohesion.
