About the theme of "symbolic architecture"
In the realm of architectural design, symbolic architecture offers a profound means of expressing abstract ideas and concepts through visual language.
As architects endeavor to convey intricate design principles and philosophical themes, symbols serve as potent tools
for communication.
A narrative unfolds within the built environment through
the strategic placement and composition of architectural elements, such as walls, doors, and windows.
These symbols transcend physical structures, imbuing spaces with deeper layers of meaning and significance.
In my exploration of symbolic architecture, I employ abstract plans crafted with acrylic paint and color tape
on paper as a medium of expression.
Each stroke of paint and carefully placed strip of tape becomes a deliberate gesture, contributing to the narrative woven within the architectural composition.
By utilizing vibrant colors and dynamic shapes, I seek to evoke emotional responses and provoke thought, inviting viewers to interpret the symbolism embedded within the design.
Within these abstract plans, architectural elements take on symbolic significance, transcending their practical functions to embody broader concepts and themes.
Walls may represent barriers or boundaries, while doors symbolize opportunities and transitions.
Windows offer glimpses into unseen realms, inviting contemplation
and reflection.
Through this fusion of art and architecture, I aim to create spaces that resonate with the human experience, sparking dialogue and fostering
a deeper connection between individuals and their built environment.
