Write the balance of painful emotions
Emotional state on canvas, Aix-en-Provence, 2016
How not suffer the painful emotions?
How to prevent these states from polluting our life and our health?
I wanted to represent & discover the autonomy of management of our health, whether physical or emotional.
If we emotionally suffer, it is important that we re-evaluate our lifestyle in general, including how we feed ourselves.
Our nutrition & mental health are intimately related, and any physical imbalance can easily disrupt our emotional well-being.
By juxtaposing these diverse elements, I seek to highlight the interconnectedness of communities and how they contribute to the vibrant mosaic of the city.
In creating these abstract topographies, I draw inspiration from the complex interactions and intersections that define New York's urban landscape.
By layering shapes and patterns, I aim to convey the multifaceted nature
of the city's communities, exploring how they evolve and adapt.
Through my artwork, I hope to celebrate the diversity and resilience of
New York's residents showcase the beauty and complexity of their shared experiences within the larger tapestry of the city.
