Dark side of the change
Dark side of the change
Abstract spleen on canvas, Aix-en-Provence, 2016
I am intrigued by the power of fluid mechanics.
They occupy a transversal place in many fields of science, technology, and also in art.
There are some specific kinds of fluids that attract or repulse behaviors, depending on the energy density.
I imagine the moves of these dark fluids in these abstract paintings on canvas.
By juxtaposing these diverse elements, I seek to highlight the interconnectedness of communities and how they contribute to the vibrant mosaic of the city.
In creating these abstract topographies, I draw inspiration from the complex interactions and intersections that define New York's urban landscape.
By layering shapes and patterns, I aim to convey the multifaceted nature
of the city's communities, exploring how they evolve and adapt.
Through my artwork, I hope to celebrate the diversity and resilience of
New York's residents showcase the beauty and complexity of their shared experiences within the larger tapestry of the city.
