EMOTIONAL MAP ON UNSTRETCHED CANVAS      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO, BROOKLYN, NY, USA     MAY 2020

About the theme of "inner landscapes"

Am I invested in regular grounding and centering myself?

Am I quieting my inner chatter and loosening my assumptions and beliefs?

Our
inner territory
 can be elusive, enigmatic, confusing,
and paradoxical.

This space is also intimidating if we have not spent much time there, and It may require a fierce willingness to explore the many different layers of this emotional landscape.

I have developed an artistic approach to representing
our inner territory's elusive and enigmatic nature on unstretched canvases with color tapes and acrylic paint.

I invite you to a visual journey into human emotions' multifaceted
and profound nature.

These geometric emotional maps capture our emotional landscapes' paradoxical and often confusing aspects.

I use unconventional materials and methods to add a tactile and dynamic dimension to exploring these inner layers through the color tapes.

The idea that delving into this space may be intimidating underscores the depth and complexity of our emotional landscapes, emphasizing the courage required to navigate and understand the intricate layers within.
