CONNECTED THREADS ON CANVAS      PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO IN NEWBURGH, NY, USA     MAY 2021

Interplay

About the theme of "human-nature"

Thread can symbolize the relationship between all states
of being and between the latter and their causes.

Based on the idea of
connecting worlds
with various conditions of living, I imagined this series using
different types of fabric and tulles.

The act of weaving is very symbolic to me.

Here, the interdependence of states of consciousness
and emotions
 are demonstrated in volume instead
of taping or painting.

Within these abstract geometric compositions on small square canvases, tulle symbolizes interconnected relationships among states of emotions.

Delicate threads of tulle weave through the canvas, creating intricate geometric shapes that embody existence's complexity.

The transparent quality of tulle adds layers to the composition, allowing viewers to perceive the subtle interplay of threads and shapes.

This visual mapping becomes a poetic representation of the interconnected tapestry of life, translating the profound relationships into a tactile
and visually engaging experience.

The interdependence of our emotions and consciousness can be perceived
as avoidable impediments to rational thinking.
