There are various ways to develop neutral observation to foster natural contact with yourself and others.
It's an open space of awareness: when practicing the neutral observer, we can gradually start to see more clearly the automatic judgments or the usual reactions we often slide into.
We gain more freedom in our own thinking and acting.
If our compulsions stay unconscious, they will be automatic.
