I read that computer programming can be satisfying and gives a kind of authorship & control that's quite beyond
what people mostly can get in other activities.
I think that computer programs, and not just the pictures and apps that programs can produce, can be sources of beauty.

Programmers, like mathematicians, writers or engineers, develop this sense of esthetics and they emphasize the use
of abstraction in the context of programming.

I view Abstraction as the central idea of a new computer science.
