SOCIAL ART ON PAPER HERREMAA SERIES PHILIPPE HALABURDA STUDIO 2021
Native land
About the theme of "tribe (Tribus)"
Drawing inspiration from the historical concept of tribes in ancient Rome
and the rich diversity of ethnic groups worldwide, I embarked on a creative journey to explore the complexities of human social organization
nd territorial ownership.
Using acrylic paint and color tape, I translated these ideas into dynamic compositions that reflect the intricate relationships between identity, culture,
and history.
Each brushstroke and strip of tape visualized the interconnectedness of ethnic groups and their claims to land ownership based on shared ancestry, language, and tradition.
In my artistic interpretation, I sought to convey the multifaceted nature
of human social organization within an ideal territory.
Through abstract shapes and patterns, I depicted diverse ethnic groups coexisting within a geographical space, each contributing to the rich tapestry of identity
and culture.
Using acrylic paint and color tape allowed me to capture the vibrancy
and complexity of these social dynamics, inviting viewers to contemplate
the nuances of territorial ownership and the intricate web of relationships
that define human societies.
Viewers who engage with these artworks are prompted to reflect on the significance of ethnic identity and its role in shaping territorial boundaries and social structures.
Via the interplay of acrylic paint and color tape, I seek to inspire dialogue and exploration of the complexities of human social organization and
the historical and cultural factors that influence claims for land ownership.
Finally, these compositions serve as a visual exploration of the intricate connections between identity, culture, and territory, inviting the audience
to delve deeper into the complexities of human existence.
