Mapping abundance

Khyydjoo series on canvas, Newburgh, NY, 2022

This series is directly inspired by the book 'Mapping Abundance for a Planetary Future' by Kanaka Maoli.
How we can transform the recent climate events into new possibilities that will feed the population?
I envision these abstract artworks as a visual interpretation of abundant cartographies.
The crossed lines symbolize the numerous actions we can start to apply the necessary ecological lessons.
