"Pater": A journey through fatherhood in abstract art

I am thrilled to invite you to my upcoming solo show, "Pater." This heartfelt exploration of fatherhood through a unique blend of abstract mixed-media art will be held at ADS Warehouse in Newburgh, NY, from June 8 to 29, 2024.

About "Pater"

"Fatherhood is a profound journey filled with many emotions, experiences, and reflections. "Pater" is my attempt to capture these moments through the lens of art. Each piece in the exhibition results from my recent musings on paternity, where I delve into the complexities and joys of being a father.

The Art

The artworks featured in "Pater" are abstract mixed-media creations on paper and canvas. I have used various materials, including painting, yarn, and color tape, to bring my vision to life. This combination allows me to express the textured and layered experience of fatherhood vibrantly and dynamically. The interplay of different materials and techniques mirrors the multifaceted nature of paternal relationships, from the playful to the profound.

Opening Party

I am excited to start the exhibition with an opening party on Saturday, June 8, from 5 to 8 pm. This will be an excellent opportunity to celebrate the launch of "Pater" with friends, family, and fellow art enthusiasts. I encourage you to bring your loved ones, including children, as this show is a tribute to the family experience.

Visit the Exhibition

The exhibition will be open for viewing until June 29 by appointment. To schedule a visit, please get in touch with me at 917-353-2064. ADS Warehouse, our venue, is located at 105 Ann St, Newburgh, NY 12550, a space known for its vibrant support of the arts community.

Why "Pater"?

In creating "Pater," I aimed to offer a personal yet universal look at what it means to be a father. I hope that visitors will find pieces of their own experiences reflected in the artwork, sparking conversations and reflections about the role of fathers in our lives.

Join me in celebrating fatherhood through art. I look forward to seeing you at the show!
